The modular drive system now has even more configuration options with the new ECI 80 motor.

No matter what drive challenge you face, you can solve it quickly and effectively with our modular system. This is because our modular drive system allows solutions to be flexibly assembled into several thousand possible combinations for specific tasks – including transmissions, encoders and brakes.

Now the ECI 80 motor can be combined with the system. It delivers up to 750 watts of power, and is compact, making it the perfect companion to the previous ECI 42 and 63 sizes.

Intelligently networked in a flash: drive solutions with EtherCAT.

To respond even better to emerging market requirements, we have expanded the networking capabilities within our proven ECI 63 drive system. A new feature is that the drives can also be controlled via an EtherCAT interface.

This communication protocol is considered one of the fastest technologies in the field of industrial Ethernet and delivers many advantages for decentralized and intelligent drives.

EtherCAT boasts real-time capability and offers extremely precise synchronization in the nanosecond range. This is particularly advantageous for drives in industrial automation, especially when it comes to synchronizing multiple axes.
