The role involves leading all technical aspects of projects from initiation through execution, ensuring that deliverables meet specifications, standards, and customer requirements. This includes understanding stakeholder needs by translating market requirement specifications or product visions into detailed product requirement specifications, work breakdown structures, and comprehensive project plans to guide progress throughout the project’s duration. Collaboration with multiple project teams, engineering departments, and stakeholders is essential to coordinate efforts, manage resources, and ensure that milestones are achieved on schedule through to product release. Additionally, the role requires clear and consistent communication with general project managers, providing regular updates on technical progress, challenges, and outcomes. Preparing detailed reports and presentations that highlight technical achievements in alignment with overall project objectives is also a key responsibility.
