In the case of process or kitchen exhaust air, the extracted air can reach high temperatures and be heavily contaminated with particles. Fans must be used here that are capable of reliably extracting moist media contaminated with particles or odors in accordance with standards.
The fans used for this purpose must meet very specific requirements:
- The motor must not be located directly in the particle-laden air flow
- The air flowing in behind must be free of pollutants
- They must be easily accessible and easy to clean
