ebm‑papst will be presenting innovative fans and digital solutions for data centers in Hall 7.1, Stand G15 at Data Center World Paris from November 5-6, 2025. The focus of the exhibition will be on the new AxiBlade.Perform fans and NEXAIRA.
ebm‑papst has a wide range of EC axial panel and centrifugal fans in its product portfolio that are designed to meet the various air conditioning solutions required in data centers, from in-row server rack cooling using chillers to precision air-conditioning units and other air handling units (AHUs).
AxiBlade.Perform: Enhanced air performance, flexible installation
The new AxiBlade.Perform fans in sizes 860 and 950 mm for enhanced air performance in applications such as chillers, evaporators, and condensers are set to be unveiled for the first time at the trade fair. The newly developed plastic wall ring ensures stable air conduction, enables use in both airflow directions (intake and exhaust), and offers very flexible installation options. The fans' plug & play design makes them quick to install and easy to replace. Other practical features include a terminal box that can be bolted on at the side, a pressure tap for differential pressure and air flow measurement, and provision for the use of an air inlet grill (FlowGrid), which effectively reduces tonal noise. AxiBlade.Perform fans support both MODBUS-RTU and ebm papst's NEXAIRA cloud connection.
NEXAIRA: Intelligent communication and connectivity
ebm‑papst offers an AI-supported solution for optimizing cooling systems in data centers, enabling energy savings of up to 50% through digital twins and adaptive control. This not only reduces their operating costs, but also helps them meet sustainability goals and regulatory requirements. Operating data can also be recorded and evaluated in real time and used for predictive maintenance – an ideal basis for use in smart HVAC systems.
Increased operational reliability
Resonance detection and active PFC increase the operational reliability of fans in data centers by preventing resonance in critical speed ranges, which in turn prevents damage to the fan bearings and components. At the same time, active PFC reduces harmonics at the supply connection, often eliminating the need for external filters and oversized power supply units.
