Siemens Climatix OEM Controls driver for ebm-papst GreenTech EC motors

Climatix OEM controllers - tailored to HVAC applications.

Climatix™ offers an extensive range of flexible and scalable control solutions - from standard to freely programmable.

The controller range is designed to cover a wide range of OEM HVAC applications, and is ideally suited for use with refrigeration machines, heat pumps, air handling units, fan convectors, roof-top units, high-precision air conditioners, as well as district heating or remote cooling substations.

The controllers operate reliably even under extreme temperature conditions
(from -40°C to 70ºC/-40°F to 158°F).

The unique range of I/O expansion modules (6, 14, 15, 22, 27 I/Os) and communication options (Modbus, M-Bus, TCP/IP, BACnet/IP, BACnet/MSTP, SCADA Support, Web Server etc.) offers customers a high-quality controller platform for the HVAC sector and a cost-effective solution for specific applications and communication requirements.

A wide variety of user interfaces (analog, digital and touch room devices, industrial HMIs, high-performance touch panels) - supported by a Cloud-based service platform and various commissioning and production tools - complement the broad-ranging controller portfolio.

Climatix - tailored to HVAC applications and the needs of OEMs

Climatix air conditioning solution from Siemens.

All Climatix controllers have built-in Modbus interfaces for controlling EC fans so as to improve efficiency and receive information for diagnostics and optimum fan management - at no additional cost.

The new Climatix air conditioning solution from Siemens is equipped with the Modbus driver from ebm-papst, so no additional programming is required.

This cuts production and on-site costs, and minimizes wiring and commissioning commitment.

The Modbus driver for GreenTech EC motors was developed in cooperation with ebm-papst. It guarantees top energy efficiency and performance, and meets the highest expectations in terms of advanced fan management.

The range of heat pump controllers comprises two basic designs: RVS61 with housing, RVS21 circuit board version.

Siemens Albatros2 OEM controller - everything in one package

Our flexible solution for heat pumps meets all the requirements of residential and functional buildings, regardless of the choice of primary generator.

At the secondary level, heating, drinking and hot water, cooling, storage, integration of solar and cascading are examples of the versatility of our product range. Integration of ventilation in residential buildings, additional heat sources and hybrid solutions round off our range.

Hybrid solution with gas boiler and heat pump

Approved Controller

Heat pump controllers from Siemens meet the increasing demand for efficient and cost-optimized combinations of gas-condensing boilers and heat pumps.
The controller decides which of the two heat sources is the more economical or efficient depending on the current performance (COP) of the heat pump, the electricity price and the heat demand.

Efficiency and new regulations

New regulations demand even more efficient and sustainable solutions with regard to heat recovery, controlled room ventilation and energy monitoring. Improving COP is one of our main objectives in accordance with our strategies. New functions, such as intelligent drinking and hot water supply, dedicated defrosting strategies and the control of electronic expansion valves and steam injection, make a positive contribution to achieving better performance.
The entire solution is designed for use with Smart grids, so the resultant flexibility means that it is possible to respond to varying electricity prices or different energy sources.

Intuitive operation and commissioning

As applications are generally becoming more diverse, ease of operation is becoming crucial for quick and correct installation and commissioning.
All required information can be called up quickly and easily on a graphical display.

Remote management and system integration

Remote management and monitoring, including alarms and trends, can be implemented via web servers or Modbus. Modbus also allows integration into a building automation system or connection to other devices.
