From 3rd June to 5th June,

ebm‑papst SEA will be participating in The NOVA Expo 2026.

Join us to learn more about the latest energy-efficient and smart ventilation solutions we have to offer.

Booth No. A9

The NOVA Expo 2026 is set to bring together pioneering businesses, all united in their mission to transform the building sector for a net-zero future. Built around the theme of Re:Build, the expo puts a spotlight on retrofitting existing structures as the most immediate and impactful path to reducing carbon emissions. The exhibition will present a range of solutions tailored for building upgrades, sustainable renovations, and the cities of tomorrow. Attendees can explore innovations in smart building automation, advanced HVAC optimisation, energy management systems, low-carbon technologies, and much more.

Booth highlights this year...

This year, ebm‑papst is leading air technology into a new era with energy-efficient ventilation solutions enhanced by IoT sensor - the intelligate Mesh.

When paired together, these innovations reduce energy consumption from the outset and unlock additional benefits such as predictive maintenance, intelligent control, and continuous performance optimisation.

As illustrated in the infographic, these solutions are well-suited for commercial buildings and energy-intensive buildings such as data centres.

For applications such as air handling units (AHUs), make-up air units (MAUs), and computer room air conditioning (CRAC) units, we’re spotlighting the RadiPac with Active PFC & RadiPac M:

The RadiPac series is a flagship product range from ebm‑papst, known for its high efficiency, durability, and quiet operation. With the addition of integrated Active Power Factor Correction (PFC), the power factor is improved closer to 1.0, ensuring the fan draws power more efficiently—reducing energy consumption and harmonics.

In advanced EC fan models with integrated aPFC, <5% Total Harmonic Distortion (THDI) can be achieved even at just 10% of power draw, with no need for on-site adjustments. By smoothing voltage and current distortions, Active PFC ensures a stable power supply, reducing electrical noise, overheating, and wear on equipment. Over time, this extends the lifespan of electrical components, while also lowering maintenance, utility, and operating costs.

Previously, we featured RadiPac C, where the impeller is made of composite material. Now, we’re expanding our collection to include the RadiPac M, where the backward curved impellers is made of metal. We have now integrated this metal impeller with our latest generation of EC motors, providing even more options to HVAC application manufacturers and enabling them to meet industry regulations.

Key Features at a Glance:

  • High power range up to 24 kW with volume flows up to 50,000 m³/h
  • Approximately 4% improvement in static efficiency over the predecessor
  • Meets strict fire load requirements, including UL 94
  • Plug & play design for easy installation and commissioning
  • Features active PFC and integrated resonance detection

Introducing the intelligate Mesh

Our fan systems can be optimised further with the intelligate Mesh.

Typical IoT networks use both wired and wireless connections. While wired setups offer stability, they lack the flexibility of wireless options. However, most wireless networks have limited bandwidth, which slows data transfer, especially with data-heavy equipment like EC fans. To address this, a mesh network was developed to support high-volume data transfer efficiently.

Key Benefits:

  • Extended coverage through device-to-device meshing
  • Scalable and user-friendly—just add a new node to expand the network
  • Self-healing—network remains stable even if one node fails

We look forward to engaging with built environment professionals across the region and exploring how these next-generation technologies can help shape smarter, more sustainable buildings.
