ebm‑papst SEA will be featuring the latest ventilation technology at The NOVA Expo 2025. Here's what you can expect to see at our booth:

  1. RadiPac in a FanGrid, which ideal for air handling units. The RadiPac is a highly efficient EC centrifugal fan that far exceeds the efficiency and performance of a conventional AC belt-driven fan. When installed in a FanGrid, it enables operational redudancy and a uniform airflow, which optimises its effectiveness as a HVAC solution. This solution is ideal for a wide variety of commercial building types.

As a standard, the fan is equipped with passive PFC. As an add-on, it can be equipped with integrated active power factor correction (PFC) features, allowing less than 5% THDI over the complete power range and even in heavily disturbed grids. This enables the minimizing of circuit feedback and reduction of current harmonics, ensuring efficient power usage in DCs. By addressing harmonics at the source, our fans help to eliminate the need for costly, over-dimensioned power supplies, resulting in enhanced performance and significant energy savings. The RadiPac with aPFC is deal for data centers.

  2. Cooling Tower with AxiBlade – Cooling towers are crucial in DCs to manage heat from constant computer operations. They prevent overheating, optimize performance, and reduce energy consumption by dissipating generated heat effectively. With the powerful and durable AxiBlade fan, energy and maintenance costs can be reduced.

  3. RadiCube box fan, ideal for exhaust/supply systems of all building types. It has been paired with an IoT solution.

Speaker Session

Unlocking Active Sustainable Design with Energy-efficient Ventilation Strategies - 1

Title: Unlocking Active Sustainable Design with Energy-Efficient Ventilation Strategies
Date: 14th March 2025
Registration begins at 13:30
Presentation Time: 14:00 - 14:40
Venue: Room MR223 | 2nd floor of BITEC

Synopsis

In order to mitigate the most severe impacts of climate change, it is imperative to achieve a state of net zero carbon emissions globally by the year 2050 which resulted in a growing recognition of the urgent need for sustainable practices in various industries, including architecture and building design. As buildings account for a significant portion of global energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, it is crucial to explore innovative solutions that promote energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

This presentation highlights the importance of incorporating energy-efficient ventilation strategies as a fundamental component of active sustainable design. By focusing on ventilation systems, we can unlock significant opportunities for enhancing building performance, occupant comfort, and overall environmental sustainability.
