Booth No. B35

Data Centre World Asia is the leading data centre event for connecting technologists and business leaders with experts, solutions and services to help accelerate data centre plans. The award-winning event connects technologists and business leaders with experts, solutions and services to discover the latest data centre innovations and solutions, gain first-hand knowledge and all that is required to enhance a data centre's capabilities, efficiencies and readiness for all future demands.

Booth highlights this year...

This year, ebm‑papst is leading air technology into a new era with energy-efficient ventilation solutions enhanced by our digital ecosystem, NEXAIRA.

When paired together, these innovations reduce energy consumption from the outset and unlock additional benefits such as predictive maintenance, intelligent control, and continuous performance optimisation.

As illustrated in the infographic, these solutions are well-suited for data centres. For applications such as air handling units (AHUs), make-up air units (MAUs), and computer room air conditioning (CRAC) units, we’re spotlighting two featured options:

The RadiPac series is a flagship product range from ebm‑papst, known for its high efficiency, durability, and quiet operation. With the addition of integrated Active Power Factor Correction (PFC), the power factor is improved closer to 1.0, ensuring the fan draws power more efficiently—reducing energy consumption and harmonics.

In advanced EC fan models with integrated aPFC, <5% Total Harmonic Distortion (THDI) can be achieved even at just 10% of power draw, with no need for on-site adjustments. By smoothing voltage and current distortions, Active PFC ensures a stable power supply, reducing electrical noise, overheating, and wear on equipment. Over time, this extends the lifespan of electrical components, while also lowering maintenance, utility, and operating costs.

Previously, we featured RadiPac C, where the impeller is made of composite material. Now, we’re expanding our collection to include the RadiPac M, where the backward curved impellers is made of metal. We have now integrated this metal impeller with our latest generation of EC motors, providing even more options to HVAC application manufacturers and enabling them to meet industry regulations.

Introducing NEXAIRA – Our Digital Ecosystem

Our fan systems can be optimised further with NEXAIRA, our newly launched digital ecosystem. NEXAIRA fine-tunes fan performance by analysing real-time system data and adjusting operation based on demand—whether in new installations or retrofit projects.

When paired with highly efficient EC fans, digital control can reduce fan energy use by up to 80%, while improving system reliability, occupant comfort, and lifecycle performance through continuous monitoring and intelligent control.

ebm‑papst has developed a dedicated solution for data center operators and large-scale cooling solutions that significantly reduce energy consumption across the entire cooling circuit. Using digital twin technology built up by the existing BMS data, all cooling processes are modeled in real-time to determine the most efficient operating parameters. Through adaptive control, energy savings of up to 50% can be achieved throughout the cooling process without any hardware changes. Beyond cost reduction, this solution plays a key role in meeting sustainability targets and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The on-premises setup guarantees the highest level of data security, while an integrated alerting system detects potential issues early, allowing for proactive countermeasures. Additionally, this advanced technology can be applied to other refrigeration systems, further expanding its benefits.

We look forward to engaging with built environment professionals across the region and exploring how these next-generation technologies can help shape smarter, more sustainable data centers.
