On 26th November, ebm‑papst participated BuildSG Leadership Forum 2020.
During the forum, industry leaders shared their insights on leveraging technologies to build resilient and adaptive businesses.
Additionally, a cloud-based platform – intelligent National Productivity and Quality Specifications (iNPQS) was introduced and launched officially. As a premium online specifications platform for the construction industry, iNPQS aims to reach out to 30,000 building professionals and achieve greater efficiency in design, procurement and construction processes.
The iNPQS is a joint project driven by three industry associations, namely, Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA), Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES). This massive effort involves not only software applications but more crucially to review of specifications of the respective disciplines to ensure that they are correct, adequate and comprehensive.

Key Features of iNPQS
Cloud-Based: The system is hosted on secure cloud server and is available on demand, to you, via internet 24×7. This cloud-based application does not require any installation and is platform independent . iNPQS is conveniently available to you – on desktop, laptop and even on mobile devices.
GPEs Templates: iNPQS database contains the latest copies of GPE specifications templates. Changes made by GPEs, if any, will be published on iNPQS database, as soon as they are officially released.
BIM Connectivity: If your design is correctly modelled in BIM software such as Revit, iNPQS System is able to scan the objects in your model and auto-generate the relevant specification document. This will also make sure every single object is correctly specified in your document.
Audit Trial/Access Control: Audit trail information is access controlled and only available to those with proper security clearance.
API – Linkage to other systems: Application Programming Interface (API) revolutionizes and opens up limitless possibility for software expansion and development.
