ebm‑papst recently had the pleasure of welcoming Paul S. Lavoie, Connecticut’s Chief Manufacturing Officer, to our Farmington facility. He was joined by Leah Fuhs from the United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut, who also serves as the convener of the AMEP (Advanced Manufacturing Employer Partnership).
Paul and Leah toured our production floor, learned more about our innovative fan, heating, and cooling technologies, and met with members of our team, including CEO Mark Shiring, HR Manager Lee Ulinskas, and Manufacturing Engineering Manager Bill Aston. The visit sparked meaningful conversations about the role of manufacturing in Connecticut’s future and the importance of creating strong pathways for talent development.
As an employer deeply rooted in the state’s manufacturing landscape, we’re proud to support initiatives that strengthen the workforce pipeline. Thank you to Paul and Leah for your continued leadership and partnership. We look forward to building a stronger manufacturing future together!
