At the 37th International Exhibition for Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning, Heating and Ventilation, Frozen Food Processing, Packaging and Storage (hereinafter referred to as “China Refrigeration Expo 2026”), global leader in fans and motors, ebm‑papst, showcased its latest air technology solutions across HVAC, data center, refrigeration, residential ventilation, and renewable energies applications. The company highlighted its achievements in technological innovation, customer value, and local development in China.

2026 marks ebm‑papst’s 30th year in the Chinese market. Since establishing its first wholly owned subsidiary in Shanghai in 1996, the company has steadily expanded its local footprint, centered on its China Headquarters in Shanghai, a national green factory in Xi’an, and the South China Air Technology Hub in Foshan. With more than 1,700 employees in China and a localization rate of approximately 90%, ebm‑papst has built a comprehensive network covering R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and services, while extending its locally developed capabilities to the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and Africa markets.

Thomas Nuernberger, Chief Sales Officer of the ebm‑papst Group and President & CEO of Air Technology APAC & MEA, said:
"The Chinese market has always been a key pillar of ebm‑papst’s global strategy. Over the past 30 years, we have continuously strengthened our local presence, working closely with customers and partners to advance air technology innovation. Moving forward, we will continue leveraging China’s innovation and manufacturing capabilities to provide high-efficient and sustainable air technology solutions to the global market."

At this year’s expo, ebm‑papst highlighted the new generation RadiPac series of centrifugal fans with metal impellers. Combining advanced aerodynamic design with intelligent EC motor technology, the fans achieve optimized energy efficiency and noise control, making them ideal for HVAC air handling units and data center applications. In addition, the company showcased its systems in real-world scenarios through a mobile demo vehicle and immersive virtual reality experiences, allowing visitors to better understand the performance of complete solutions in diverse applications.

Henry Cheng, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, ebm‑papst China, commented: "With growing demand for energy efficiency and system upgrades, customers increasingly focus on improving the performance of their existing installations. ebm‑papst supports customers with high-efficiency products, system upgrade solutions, and full lifecycle services, helping them reduce energy consumption while enhancing system reliability and operational performance."
