As of May 1, 2023, ebm‑papst Mulfingen GmbH & Co. KG has officially taken the 'Guard Grill' division over from LTI-Metalltechnik GmbH at the Osterburken site.

For many decades, ebm‑papst and LTI-Metalltechnik GmbH have maintained a close, cooperative and very successful business relationship. This extends beyond the Guard Grill division, which has now been taken over. 

Thomas Wagner, COO (Managing Director Production) of the ebm‑papst Group, says: "We see this takeover as a positive development for us and our new company site in Osterburken. It means that the construction and production of high-quality grills will come from one source in the future. Together with our Italian company for guard grills, LAE, we are strengthening the division and are very well positioned for the long term.".

Now that the takeover agreements have been signed, work will be carried out together on the integration of the 'Guard Grill division' in the ebm‑papst Group, and so too on harmonizing the processes and systems. "We are delighted to welcome our 130 new colleagues to the ebm‑papst family," says Thomas Wagner.
