We are excited to share that the grand inauguration of our new Global Capability Centre (GCC) was held on November 29, 2023, at Ascendas IT Park, Chennai. The ceremony was a resounding success, marking a significant milestone in our journey of innovation and growth. In the coming years, we intend to increase our employee strength from 100 to 300 specialists developing IT and digital solutions for our company.

The ribbon-cutting and traditional lamp lighting ceremony was graced by Dr. Klaus Geissdoerfer, Group CEO; Mr. Thomas Nuernberger, Group CSO and CEO, Air Technology APAC; Mr. Frank Mayer, Group COO; Mr. Oliver Kuehnle, Senior Vice President IT; & Mr. Atul Tripathi, Managing Director, ebmpapst India.

Following the inauguration, we have showcased our 30,000-square-foot modern office facility with a state-of-the-art experience centre to our dignitaries. Our CEO, Dr. Klaus Geissdoerfer, took centre stage for a highly interactive town hall meeting that provided valuable insights and fostered open communication. The interactive Q&A session allowed employees to engage with the CEO directly.

The festivities started with a cricket match that proved to be an exhilarating highlight of the day. Our talented employees flaunted their dance moves, making the event a lively and colourful spectacle. The diversity of our ebm‑papst family was on full display.
