The UN Global Compact calls on companies worldwide to align their activities and strategies with ten recognized principles in the areas of human rights, labor standards, the environment, and anti-corruption, and to take measures to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Since its inception in 2000, the UN Global Compact has grown to become the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative, with more than 25,000 participating companies in 167 countries and 64 local networks.
