The ebm‑papst Group, the world's leading manufacturer of fans and motors, recveived the German Sustainability Award Products 2026. The award was given to the turbo compressor CompaNamic in the “Climate” transformation field.

According to the jury, CompaNamic significantly ensures the efficiency and resource-saving operation of heat pumps and refrigeration systems. As a central component in heating and cooling technology, CompaNamic can make a significant contribution to energy savings, climate protection, and the circular economy. The jury was also impressed by the product's holistic impact throughout its entire life cycle. The turbo compressor operates completely free of oil, uses the natural refrigerant propane, and does not contain any harmful PFAS compounds. This not only increases energy efficiency but also simplifies disposal at the end of the systems' service life.
