Rainer Hundsdörfer leaving ebm-papst

By mutual agreement, Rainer Hundsdörfer (58), CEO of ebm-papst Group, has left ebm-papst, the technology leader in fans and drives, with effect from 30 April 2016, due to different views on future corporate management and governance.

In his time as CEO, Rainer Hundsdörfer managed to maintain and boost the position of ebm-papst as global driver of innovation, with turnover reaching a new height at € 1.7 billion. Under his guidance, the group made GreenTech their trademark to represent and tie in with the balance between ecology and economy along the entire and complete value-creation chain. The company was thus awarded multiple times for their sustainable management. The partners and the advisory board of ebm-papst wish to thank Rainer Hundsdörfer for all his work and commitment. Until such time as the position of CEO has been filled, the Managing Directors will assume full responsibility for their divisions and will report directly to the partners and the advisory board.
