Fachforum

Patrick Stern, Market Manager for refrigeration technology at ebm-papst Mulfingen, will present the "AxiCool" axial fan for evaporators and refrigerators on October 12 in the forum in Hall 7A, Stand 618. Whereas sizes up to 450 are mainly suitable for commercial applications and small store rooms on sales premises, the new sizes 500, 630 and 800 of AxiCool fans are intended for larger-scale applications, for instance in large cold stores or warehouses and production facilities used in the food processing and foodstuffs industries. This means that practical and highly energy-efficient axial fans are now available for high-performance evaporators in industrial and commercial cooling systems. On October 13, Patrick Stern will be presenting "AxiBlade", a revolutionary concept for axial fans. With the AxiBlade, ebm-papst has developed a new generation of axial fans that utilizes all the potential optimizations opened up by the latest technology. The concept is based on a modular system consisting of fan housings of different heights with an aerodynamically optimized geometry. In addition, there are impellers with a profiled blade geometry, winglets and guide vanes to ensure maximum efficiency. This enables the new axial fans to be optimally designed for specific applications. Refrigeration specialist forum in Hall 7A, Stand 7A-618 AxiCool: October 12, 2016, 11:40-12:00 AxiBlade: October 13, 2016, 13:20-13:40 Both presentations will be in English and are free for visitors to Chillventa. Of course, the two product series in question and other highlights will also be exhibited on the ebm-papst stand in Hall 4A, Stand 313. The refrigeration specialist forum provides an opportunity to focus on specific issues in depth. The topics range from CO2 and water as refrigerants, initiatives to develop more efficient refrigerants, compressor power measurement with new low-GWP refrigerants, high-pressure components for CO2 and NH3, compact screw compressors with integrated frequency converters to innovative fan systems.
