ebm‑papst established its first presence in Thailand in 2000, followed by the incorporation of ebm‑papst (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in 2004. The Thailand office operates under the regional oversight of ebm‑papst SEA Pte. Ltd., which manages the company’s Southeast Asia operations. Today, the Thailand office is led by Mr. Wing Hoe Lau, who brings 13 years of experience in the HVAC industry. Known for his customer-centric approach, Mr. Lau is committed to delivering tailored solutions that address key concerns such as energy efficiency and system performance.
Together with his team, he actively collaborates with industry stakeholders to drive sustainable progress and support Thailand’s transition to a greener future. Looking ahead, the Thailand team will explore the potential of digitalisation to further enhance energy efficiency within the built environment.

ebm‑papst SEA Pte. Ltd. oversees the company's operations in Southeast Asia, covering markets in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Myanmar, Brunei, and Laos.
In November 2023, the ebm‑papst Group made a significant investment of approximately one million EUR in the expansion and conversion of its Singapore headquarters. This strategic move enhanced the importance of the Southeast Asia hub within the Group, with the office now also managing operations for the entire Asia-Pacific and Middle East Asia regions.
ebm‑papst SEA Pte. Ltd. employs approximately 45 people at its Singapore headquarters. In total, the company has around 77 employees across the Southeast Asia region, including key markets such as Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia.

Our EC fans are considered as an integrated solution, with components specifically optimized to work together—unlike conventional AC fans. This results in significantly higher efficiency and reduced energy loss, which extends the lifespan of the fan. This also means external devices like Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) are not needed, reducing the need to maintain external components.
