Centrifugal fans for efficient precision air-conditioning units

Half of the electrical energy required in a data center must be used just for cooling the hardware. At the same time, higher computational capacity over the same floor space is expected, which places additional strain on the cooling systems. In order to satisfy these increasing market requirements, ebm-papst has developed the tried-and-tested series of RadiCal centrifugal fans further.

Masters of the golden triangle

In hospitals and practices worldwide, doctors, dentists and veterinarians use medical equipment from Novuqare, a Dutch company with only 18 employees. Its secret to success is balancing the three elements of innovation, production and close customer contact.

Combining EC technology with airfoil blades

In ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration applications, designers and operators often discover that the fans installed in their equipment are noisier or less energy-efficient than expected. The conditions of installation are often to blame, as they can have a negative effect on power consumption, air performance and noise emissions. The fan’s impeller, motor, control electronics and housing are optimized for energy efficiency and noise emission, and the actual conditions of installation in AHUs should not be neglected.
