Thomas Wagner

Chief Operating Officer Air Technolgy Europe & Chief Operating Officer Group (COO)

He studied Business Engineering at the University of Karlsruhe (TH) and graduated with a diploma in Business Engineering.

In 1984, he started his professional career with ebm‑papst in Mulfingen as the assistant of the Director Production Planning and Organization. One year later he became the manager, and shortly after that the Director of the department Planning, Organization, and Controlling.

In 1995 Thomas Wagner took responsibility for ebm‑papst‘s production in Hungary by becoming General Manager of ebm‑papst Hunbgary and later on General Manager of ebm papst Landshut and ebm papst St. Georgen.

Since 2002 he is Chief Operation Officer of the ebm papst Group.

In 2021 he was the interim Chief Executive Officer of the Group and since November 2021 he is the Deputy CEO of the Group.

Since 2023 Thomas Wagner is also Chief Operation Officer Air Technology for the Europe region. Together with Raymond Engelbrecht as the Chief Commercial Officer, he is the joint lead of the ebm‑papst Air Technology Europe region.
