ebm-papst has partnerships with the Cooperative State University Baden-Württemberg in Mosbach, Mannheim and Schwenningen, Germany. In addition, ebm-papst Mulfingen supports the cooperative degree program of the Reinhold-Würth-Hochschule in Künzelsau.

Studies at the Cooperative State University Baden-Württemberg

The higher education alternative for committed students who have completed their secondary education ("Abitur" in Germany), possess exceptional logical and analytical skills, a practically-oriented thought process and a great willingness to perform. Additional prerequisites are the general or subject-specific qualification for university entrance with very good marks, including at least one foreign language.

The course begins in October of each year, and is preceded by a practical orientation lasting at least four weeks. The total length is 3 years. This is a dual-system educational program offered in conjunction with the Cooperative State Universities.

ebm-papst offers the following degree programs at the Cooperative State Universities in Mosbach, Mannheim and Schwenningen, Germany:

  • Bachelor of Arts [B.A.] degree program in International Business
  • Bachelor of Arts [B.A.] degree program in Industry
  • Bachelor of Science [B.Sc.] degree program in Business Information Technology
  • Bachelor of Engineering [B.Eng.] degree program in Electrical Engineering
  • Bachelor of Engineering [B.Eng.] degree program in Mechatronics
  • Bachelor of Engineering [B.Eng.] degree program in Industrial Engineering and Management - International Sales Management
  • Bachelor of Engineering [B.Eng.] degree program in Mechanical Engineering

Cooperative degree program

Our in-house training features highly qualified trainers and a state-of-the-art development laboratory. In addition, the vocational college is an active partner in the dual education system. The objective of this educational system is to combine practical vocational training and theoretical studies. Our partner is the Reinhold-Würth-Hochschule in Künzelsau, Germany.

Dual studies with in-depth hands-on training

Students combine university studies with additional intensive practical periods of hands-on training in the company - in addition to the existing internship semester. The prerequisites are the same as for studies at the University of Co-operative Education. They include, in addition to the general or subject-specific qualification for university entrance with very good marks, a great willingness to perform and practically-oriented thinking.

The course begins in October of each year, and is preceded by a practical orientation lasting at least four weeks. The total length is 3.5 years. This is a dual-system educational program offered in conjunction with the University of Cooperative Education in Landshut, Germany, in the following degree programs:

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology

Please note: All dual-system study places for 2009 and 2010 of ebm-papst Landshut are already occupied.
