For us, quality and the environment are inseparable
For our customers, the name "ebm-papst" stands for good quality around the world. However, we understand quality to mean more than meeting our customers' requirements in every way. Quality is a foremost priority of corporate policy and is inseparably connected to environmental issues.

From now on, only a product or production that fulfills the highest quality standards and environmental concerns in equal measure is to be associated with the name "ebm-papst". This is our commitment - to plan for and build quality in a manner that is both systematic and sustainable.
By means of conscious risk management and tools such as DoE and FMEA, we strive to prevent possible faults and safeguard against possible events using emergency planning. At the same time, our goal is to prevent harm to the environment by assessing environmental impact at an early stage and, wherever economically feasible, to minimize it using the best available technology. This also pertains to water and soil conservation and emissions and extends to selecting and operating energy sources according to environmental considerations and using external service providers on ebm-papst property.
Healthy and environmentally safe solutions for products and production
We were among the pioneers in developing energy-saving motors and fans in EC technology and, in this way, make a responsible contribution to protecting the world's climate. Another focal point of our activities is developing low-noise motors and fans to minimize noise pollution. We continuously look for sensible means of reducing waste. When developing new products, we place top priority on ensuring that the materials we use are reusable and free of hazardous substances.
