As one of the largest employers in Germany's Hohenlohe region, ebm-papst takes its social responsibilities seriously, supporting sport and culture in the region for many years. In recognition of this, the fan specialist received the 2009 "Ehren-Victor" award of the Württembergischen Sportjugend (WSJ), a sport association in the state of Baden-Württemberg, as part of the "Role models of the year" awards ceremony.

ebm-papst will present the latest trends in the field of fans and motors from 23 - 27 March 2010 at the Mostra Convegno Expocomfort trade fair. In Hall 24, Stand B13-C22, the current developments in the field of refrigeration, air-conditioning and ventilation technology will be presented; Hall 1, Stand R05-S12 will feature the highlights in heating engineering.

Prof Hans-Jörg Bullinger, President of the Fraunhofer Society, launched the annual ebm-papst Management Convention with a speech about coming trends in the world of work. "The work of the future, the future of work – Turbulent times call for creative minds" was the topic presented to some 60 of the fan specialist's managers.
