EC centrifugal fans for clean rooms

Tougher product quality requirements call for production in clean or ultra-clean rooms. Even the slightest impurities in the air can compromise production processes and lead to high reject rates. Air supplies for such production environments need to be as free as possible from dust or germs. The RadiCal centrifugal fans from ebm papst are ideal for such applications.

Ø 172 × 132 mm counter-rotating fan with large pressure increase. Compact high-performance machines (e.g., for highly integrated electronics in the fields of IT, telecommunications, network technology and renewable energy) require cool air that reliably reaches internal components requiring cooling. In some cases, conventional single fans are too weak.

Interconnected fans save energy

ebm-papst has created an interconnected refrigerator control system for the industrial and consumer sectors in collaboration with an American refrigeration unit manufacturer. This is important – especially for contents that must be cooled precisely, such as perishable food, medications, toolmaking and production machines and industrial electronics.

“Tandem fan” for more air throughput

80 × 80 × 80 cooling cube more efficient than two single fans. Modern servers, routers, network storage and telecommunications systems with high packing density – and hence high air internal resistance – require highly efficient cooling. Even high-performance fans quickly reach their limits.

With the new G3G 315, ebm-papst is expanding its product portfolio to include another high-performance gas blower that permits a heat output of up to 2 MW for the first time. It opens up new possibilities – especially for applications requiring decentralized heating solutions.
